- Do you charge per head?
- No. Per-head metering reads like enterprise pricing and punishes you for growing. One flat price covers the herd. If your operation runs well past 500 head and you need something more, talk to us.
- Do you charge per user?
- No. Records improve when everyone who works cattle can write them down. Per-seat pricing fights that, so we don't do it.
- Is there a free plan?
- No — there's a 21-day free trial with everything turned on instead. A free tier would mean gating features like offline or reports, and we think those belong to everyone who pays for the product.
- Is offline extra?
- Never. Offline isn't a premium feature here; it's the reason Ranch Compass exists. Every plan, every device, every record works without service.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You can export your records as CSV at any time, including after you decide to leave. The herd book is yours.
